FALCONS RETURN TO ACTION TOMORROW & SATURDAY
Host Las Vegas and Long Beach at Save Mart Center Following
All-Star Break
FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Falcons return
from the ECHL All-Star Break with a pair of games tomorrow
and Saturday at Save Mart Center against the Las Vegas Wranglers
and Long Beach Ice Dogs, respectively. The Falcons begin the
second half of the campaign tied with the San Diego Gulls
for fourth place in the West Division with a record of 21-14-4
and 46 points.
Tomorrow's game versus the Wranglers begins
at 7 p.m. and is a re-match of Fresno's final home game before
the break when the Falcons defeated Las Vegas, 4-2, on Jan.
23. The first 3,000 fans to tomorrow's contest will receive
a Falcons 2005 Year-at-a-Glance Calendar courtesy of Dumont
Printing.
Saturday's tilt begins at 1 p.m. and features
the only team against which Fresno has a losing record. The
Falcons are 1-3-0 this season versus the Ice Dogs, who are
in second place in the West Division. The first 3,000 fans
at the game on Saturday will receive a Falcons Matchbox Car
courtesy of Hedrick's Chevrolet.
The club then wraps-up a busy weekend of
hockey on Sunday when they travel to Long Beach Arena to complete
a home-and-home series with the Ice Dogs at 5 p.m.
Individual tickets are on sale for both tomorrow
and Saturday's games for as low as $8 per seat and may be
purchased directly at the arena box office and all Ticketmaster
outlets, by phone at 485-TIXS (8497) or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
Transaction Note: The Cleveland Barons of
the American Hockey League re-called winger Scott Dobben today.
Dobben played two games for the Falcons and recorded zero
points and two penalty minutes.
