FALCONS WIN OUTSTANDING BUSINESS VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD

The Falcons were honored as the Business Volunteer of the Year by the Volunteer Center of Fresno County at the National Volunteer Weeks 40th Anniversary Awards Luncheon. During the 2007-08 season, the Falcons raised over $235,000 for charitable organizations in the Central Valley.

Falcons Announce 2008-09 Schedule

The Falcons and ECHL have announced the schedule for the 2008-09 season. Fresno opens the season at Stockton on October 18, and makes its official to return to Selland Arena for the home opener on Friday, October 24 against the Bakersfield Condors.

John Tull Named Man of the Year

Falcons CEO John Tull has been named Central Valley Man of the Year by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Association. Tull raised $14,574 over the eight-week voting process, with each dollar raised counting as one vote.

Falcons Help ECHL Increase Attendance

The Falcons welcomed three of the ECHL's largest six crowds of the season to Save Mart Center, including a league-high 12,590 on Feb. 9 for Pink at the Rink II. The ECHL was the only minor league in North America to increase attendance in 2007-08.
