FALCONS' SLIDE CONTINUES
Winless Streak Reaches Eight Straight

FRESNO, Calif. - Despite outshooting the Anchorage Aces, 46-33, the Fresno
Falcons fell to the Aces, 4-2, on Friday in front of 8,411 at Selland Arena.

Anchorage scored the only goal in the first period when Dean Larson fed
Kevin McNeill out of the corner for McNeill's 14th of the season at 15:12.

The Falcons' Rob Bonneau evened the score in his first game with the club at
5:33 of the second when he put back a rebound off a shot by Kirk DeWaele.
With the teams four-on-four late in the frame, B.J. Young and Ty Jones
combined to find Kimbi Daniels all alone in the slot for his 20th of the
year at 19:25.

Fresno wasted no time in the third as they tied the game for the second time
on the power play. Cory Murphy found David Haas in the slot, who beat Aces
netminder Chrisitan Soucy for his first goal as a Falcon at :44 of the final
period. The game remained tied until the final minute of the game when
McNeill and Larson again collaborated on the game-winning goal. McNeill
scored off his own miss to finish a two-on-two with Larson at 19:06, and
Carl Drakensjo added an empty-netter for the final 4-2 margin.

The Falcons have not won since defeating the Idaho Steelheads, 5-2, on March
2. Over the course of their eight-game winless streak, the club has
generated just 12 goals to fall to 30-27-8 with 68 points. The loss also
eliminates any chance Fresno had of catching either the San Diego Gulls or
the Bakersfield Condors in the standings, meaning the Falcons will enter the
Taylor Cup Playoffs as the number four seed.

Fresno concludes a five-game home stand tomorrow evening with their final
meeting of the year with the Gulls. The game begins at 7:30 p.m. with
tickets still available at the Selland Arena box office, all Ticketmaster
outlets and online at www.ticketmaster.com.
