Is Matt Thomas going to have his own radio show like last season? If so, what day, time, station?
There will be a weekly show each Wednesday on 790 ESPN Radio from 6:00 until 6:30 p.m.  The first show is Wednesday, October 24, and will air live from Rep's Sports Bar, located on Blackstone between Ashlan and Dakota.

Mailbag Submissions 10/25/07

I noticed the Falcons are not affiliated with any AHL or NHL team as they were with the Sharks in years past.  Are there any plans to affiliate with any team, and if not, how will this affect the Falcons organization?

Due to a number of reasons, the Falcons decided to terminate their affiliation with the Sharks, making the team independent this season. There are no immediate plans to affiliate with another NHL organization, but this is always the possibility of something happening over the summer when most NHL teams decide what their affiliation plans will be for the upcoming season.  There is no immediate effect to the Falcons.  All of the players are on ECHL contracts, and can be loaned to any AHL team.  Josh Prudden, who is currently in Worcester, has a contract with the Falcons, and if he is released by Worcester, he would still come to Fresno .
